Second Society plays modern Rock music! The sound of Second Society is a novelty combination of popular music changers from the last three decades (Punk, new wave, Pop, Rock, Heavy and Reggae). These innovative melodies are communicated through texts referring to the unusual and less accessible layers of life.
Second Society was founded in January 2005, and the band has created a rock-solid fundament as a band/live band. Second Society merges great enthusiasm, captivating songs, and a memorable performance. These guys are meant to make it.
Second Society is a band which highest priority is the joy of playing music. The band is a group of old band members, and friends. Each member of Second Society has experiences from diverse musical assemblies, resulting in an assortment of different musical elements creating the fresh tunes of Second Society.

Second Society markerer sig som et rockband, der ikke er bange for de store armbevægelser.
Lyden er tæt og kæmpestor, samtidig med at omkvædene står i kø for at blive sunget med på.
Bandet består af fire dybt koncentrerede musikere, der med deres forskellig musikalske baggrunde,
formår at kombinere musikgenrer fra de sidste tre årtier (Punk, New Wave, Pop, Garage Rock, Heavy og Electronica)
Et band der altid er parat til at sende skarpe beats, skærende synth, fræsende guitar og dundrende bas ud til folket, fra landets rock-scener. Deres begejstring for at spille live, kommer som regel til udtryk i en sveddryppende performance.
BIOGRAPHY
Mikkel Ottosen (Voc/Guitar) formed SECOND SOCIETY in Jan 2005, with the former band colleague Anders Jensen (Bass) They had both been a part of the previous hard rock trio Monzoon. They thought that their collaboration should continue – but with a new musical agenda.
An old friend/former band colleague of Mikkel, Soren Ludvig Barslev Moller (Synth/Keys/Backing Voc) from their old band The Gargoyles, agreed to the job as sound wizard. Allan Vindum (Drums) was hijacked as the rhythm keeper for this project. Allan is Mikkel´s old friend/ band colleague from their old band Percy´s Pigment.
Anders Jensen left the band in april 2007, and was replaced by the bassplayer Daryl Gonzales (Bass) - Daryl left the band in june 2007.
Sep. the 3th 2007, Lars Holmboe (Bass) joined the group, as the new bassplayer. Lars left the band in nov 2008.
The new Bassplayer Anders Annar Johan Larsen (Bass) joined the band in dec. 2008.
Allan Vindum left the band in june 2009, and was replaced by new drummer Rasmus Soerensen (Drums) Anders Annar Johan Larsen left the band in jan. 2010.

Mikkel Ottosen (Vokal/Guitar) dannede SECOND SOCIETY i jan 2005 sammen med tidligere bandkollega Anders Jensen (Bas) De havde begge spillet i hardrock trioen Monzoon, der lige var stoppet. De mente at deres samarbejde skulle fortsætte - men med en ny slags musik på dagsordenen. Mikkels ven/ tidligere bandkollega, Søren Ludvig Barslev Møller (Synth/Keys/Backing Voc) fra det gamle band The Gargoyles, sagde ja til jobbet som sound wizard.
Allan Vindum (Trommer) blev også kapret til dette projekt. Allan er Mikkels ven/gammel bandkollega fra deres tidligere band Percy´s Pigment.
I april 2007 valgte Anders Jensen at forlade bandet, og blev erstattet af Daryl Gonzales (Bas) - Daryl forlod bandet i juni 2007.
3 Sep. 2007, Blev Lars Holmboe (Bas) hyret som den nye bassist. Lars forlod bandet 16 nov. 2008.
Den Nye bassist Anders Annar Johan Larsen (Bas) kom med i bandet, i dec. 2008.
Allan Vindum forlod bandet i juni 2009. Han blev erstattet af den nye trommeslager Rasmus Sørensen (Drums) Anders Annar Johan Larsen forlod bandet i jan. 2010.
